Herbed Slow Cooker Chicken

(This recipe is from the Quick Cooking 2005 cookbook.)

1 Tbsp oilive oil
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp browning sauce, optional
4 bone-in chicken breast halves (6 oz each)*
1/2 c chicken broth

In a sm bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients; rub over chicken. Place in a 5 qt slow cooker; add broth. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hrs or until a meat thermometer reads 170 degrees. Makes 4 servings.

*I use 4 thawed boneless skinless chicken breasts.
