Cornbread

This is the cornbread recipe I always use.

1/2 c unsweetened applesauce
1 c cornmeal
1 c flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 c milk
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into greased 8" square or 11x7" pan. Bake 20-25 min or til tests done. Makes 8-12 servings.
